Document Description
CDFW has executed Lake or Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2017-0006-R3, pursuant to section 1602 of the fish and game code to Contra Costa County Pubilc Works Dept.
The project is limited to repairing scour damage and bank erosion at two bridges. Project activities consist of installing rip rap on embankment slopes and in the creek bed, replacing existing reinforced concrete slabs in the channel below each bridge, filling in the boulder abutments with mortar, removal of one 18-in diameter at breast height CA bay tree near bridge 4.40, repairing and replacing existing bridge railings with timber posts and guardrail system barriers, and installing guardrail at the bridge approaches. Curbs and surface drains will be installed. Existing asphalt concrete pavement within 25 ft of the bridge abutments and on the bridge deck will be ground and overlaid.
