Upon the request by USBR and DWR, OID and SSJID propose to provide up to 100,000 acre-feet of water available at Goodwin Dam in the April and May 2018 to assist USBR in meeting the April-May pulse flows. The pulse flow will provide fishery benefits to the Stanislaus River downstream of Goodwin Diversion Dam and San Joaquin River flow at Vernalis. Any ancillary benefits of this pulse flow will be made available to DWR and USBR and shared pursuant to a separate operations agreement between DWR and USBR. The cost for this pulse flow water will be shared between SLDMWA and DWR.
