Document Description
This project will add an additional 1,600 sq. ft. to the north end of the existing auto shop building in the form of one heavy equipment bay (40' by 40', approx.). Potential impacts include extensive ground disturbance within the northwest corner of the district yard complex, as well as 130' of trenching for new electrical service from the new building location to the main service panel. The project will add one 46,000 gallon water tank for fire suppression and one fire pump building that will house a diesel engine-driven water pump. Fencing will be installed surrounding the project site. The project will include site demolition, building excavation and utility excavation. Heavy equipment to be used includes backhoes, loaders, excavators, dump trucks and water trucks.
