Document Description
This proposed project is amending their ITP to revise the project description, amount of temporary impacts, and conditions of approval. The project will replace 27 manual control gates with remote monitoring capability (i.e. supervisory control and data acquisition [SCADA]) control gates to provide a system-wide management and monitoring as well as to minimize operational spills. The Project will also install a total of 1.6 miles of buried pipelines split at two locations. The Project will result in impacts to 0. acres of giant garter snake (Thamnophis gigas) habitat including temporary impacts to 0.15 acres. The project is expected to result in incidental take of giant garter snake, which is designated as a threatened species under the California Endangered Species Act. The ITP referenced above as issued by CDFW authorizes incidental take of species listed under CESA that may occur as a result of Project implementation. The Project will result in additional temporary impacts of a total of acres of 0.045 acres of giant garter snake (Thamnophis gigas) habitat. The project is expected to result in incidental take of giant garter snake, which is designated as a threatened species under the Califomia Endangered Species Act. The ITP referenced above as issued by CDFW authorizes incidental take of species listed under CESA that may occur as a result of Project implementation.
