Document Description
EID proposes to transfer up to 5,000 af of water to Dudley Ridge Water District and Kern County Water Agency during summer and early fall 2018. EID would make the water available through re-operation of three EID reservoirs to release water otherwise planned to be consumed by EID customers and/or stored within the EID network of reservoirs. The proposed max transfer of 5,000 af water would be derived from Weber Reservoir (up to approx 800 af), Caples Lake (up to aprox 2,800 af), and Silver Lake (up to approx 3,200 af) that would otherwise be added to storage in Jenkinson Lake or used directly to meet summer/fall 2018 demands that would instead be met with water previously stored in Jenkinson Lake.
