Document Description
The project builds upon the pilot project that was initiated in July 2017 and completes the enhancement of 0.4 miles of Al Tahoe Boulevard from State Highway 50 to Johnson Blvd. The roadway will be redesigned to create alternative, safe, non-vehicular transportation in the vicinity of South Tahoe Middle School and provide a connection between two existing non-motorized facilities. Improvements include addition of bike lanes, pedestrian paths, and pedestrian sidewalks, and streetscape improvements such as hardscape, landscape, and pedestrian lighting. The project implements a TRPA EIP project.
