- The project will install an 8-ft high block sound wall along approx 2,380 lf of the southern Caltrans ROW line adjacent to eastbound I-80. The new sound wall will follow the alignment of an existing 6-8 ft high wooden/metal fence and chain link fence that will subsequently be removed. The sound wall will begin at Palm Dr, extending to the northeast along the ROW line to include Buffwood Way, Fletcher Court, Larchwood Way, and a small portion of Walnut Ave.
