Document Description
The HTCWRF upgrades and expansion involve construction of an additional waste water treatment process train for secondary treatment using conventional activated sludge with an anoxic zone for nitrification/denitrification and a secondary clarifier, filtration and chlorine disinfection. The proposed project includes modifications to the existing headworks, a new raw sewage diversion box, a new dewatering system, a new truck loading facility, two new pond pump stations, and additional modifications to existing facilities. The Proposed project would provide an additional 0.3 million gallons per day (mgd) of treatment capacity, expanding the total treatment capacity of HTCWRF from 0.5 to 0.8 mgd annual average flow.
