Document Description
The Project will expand the RWRF capacity by 4 million gallons per day (mgd), from 8 mgd to 12 mgd, by adding a new treatment train (Train C) using membrane bioreactor (MBR) and ultraviolet (UV) treatment processes. The Project improvements include the following components: Expansion of the influent pump station with new pumps, headworks screening and grit removal; odor control biofilter upgrade/expansion; expansion of the Biosolids Building to accommodate additional dewatering systems; new biosolids silo to store about 25 tons of sludge cake; new pump station for Train A filters; new UV light treatment system; new motorized valve actuators for Train B; modifications for Train B filter feed pump station; new MBR process (Train C); storm water drainage facilities for newly planned processes; new Mechanical Maintenance Building; and modifications to existing Operations Building.
