Document Description
Replacement of an existing two-lane, concrete-slab bridge with a two-lane box culvert bridge. The proposed bridge is fifty-seven feet long and fifty-five feet wide with two twelve-foot travel lanes and two four-foot-wide shoulders. It will replace a twenty-nine-foot-long and nineteen-foot-wide bridge with nine-foot travel lanes, and no shoulders. 285 feet of the existing road north of the bridge and 158 feet south of the bridge will be improved and taper widened, and up to 10 feet of additional right-of-way may be acquired on either side of the project area. Overhead utilities will be relocated, and additional utility facilities such as guy-wires, anchors, and poles may be installed in or near the project area. A coffer dam will be built for construction purposes, channel work will occur, and four orange trees and ruderal vegetation in the existing right-of-way will be removed.
