Document Description
The applicant proposes to remove an existing 529 ft long by 3 ft wide concrete lined section of Encinas Creek that is degraded and replace with open celled concrete articulated matting. The work includes the demolition and removal on the "V" shaped concrete lined ditch. Once the concrete ditch has been removed, a series of interlocking concrete mats will be installed extending up to 16ft up each side of the Creek banks tied together with a mesh of steel cables. Once the concrete mats are installed, a thin layer of soil will be used to cover the concrete mats and hydroseeded with native plant mix.
