Document Description
This project will plan and perform strategic fuels reduction of roadside vegetation for public safety on all roads within the Sierra Springs Regional Fire Safe Council service area. Many of the roads targeted for the roadside fuel hazard reduction program serve as primary evacuations routes in the event of a wildfire. These efforts by various contractors include removing trees less than eight in in diameter and cutting back and trimming vegetation within these county ROW to reduce the potential for wildfires in the area to allow for safer ingress and egress.
