The 1205 West Elm Avenue project includes the demolition of four existing metal structures and the construction of a 4,000 sf building to be used for cannabis processing, extraction, and trim storage. The proposed project would include a trash enclosure and six on-site parking spaces, and would remain consistent with the GPD of manufacturing/business and ZD of light manufacturing/business. The proposed project is located at 1205 West Elm Ave along the southern peninsula of the city of Coalinga limits.

The proposed project includes the construction of a new industrial building on .47 acres of an established industrial subdivision requiring minor site improvements, minor landscaping, and construction of updated fencing around the site. In addition, the project is consistent with the GP and ZD. To support the exemption, the city prepared the attached 1205 West Elm Ave project IS checklist for an exemption to show the proposed project would not result in any environmental impacts.
