Document Description
DTSC pursuant to Chp 6.8, Div 20, section 25355(a)(1) of the health and safety code, approved RAW, dated June 27, 2017 for the Former Gordon Research Company site. The Nur Al-Huda Academy contemplates constructing a school on the site and is sponsoring the environmental cleanup of the site, once owned by Robert Gordon Trustee of the Lawrence W. Gordon and Bernice K. Gordon Revocable Trust Agreement, based on the Lien Settlement Agreement executed between the DTSC and the Academy dated May 11, 2017. The project activities consist of excavating approx 700 cy of contaminated soil impacted with arsenic lead, cadmium, TPH as diesel, TPH as motor oil, PCB, and dioxin, as one or more of these compounds has been detected in 13 areas of concern at concentrations above their respective screening levels.
