Document Description
The Elks Club Drive Capital Overlay and Rehabilitation Project is an approx 0.7 mi roadway maintenance project. The county will mill and overlay Elks Club Dr between Boca Raton Dr and Pioneer Trail. The overlay will conform to the adjoining intersections (Bel Aire Circle, Waverly Dr, Cherry Hills Circle, Tam O Shanter Dr, Apple Valley Dr, Pebble Beach Rd, Thunderbird Court, Thunderbird Dr, Glen Eagles Rd, Skyline Dr, Crystal Air Dr, and Tionontati St) as well as each driveway. Existing asphalt concrete dike will be replaced with concrete curb and gutter between Pioneer Trail and Skyline Dr. No trees will be affected by this activity. The project will require lane closures but no road closure is anticipated. Duration of construction activity is anticipated to be approx 1 month (20 working days).

The work consists of minor alteration, repair and replacement of an existing public facility involving negligible expansion of use beyond that existing at the time of this determination. These minor modifications to existing facilities will improve and maintain the existing pavement and shoulders.
