Hand crews will move the material generated to chipping machines located on the road surface to be spread back onto the units or removed to a recycle facility or piled for burning. Pile burning will take place after piles have cured for at least one year. The project will promote increased tree health and reduce the risk of catastrophic fire in an area heavily used by the public.
