Document Description
The proposed project includes demolition and construction of Utility Shed located immediately east of the Academy's Grounds Unit Office and adjacent to the Loretta Shaeffer Memorial. The existing shed, approx 345 sf has no foundation and the interior layout is inefficient for storage of irrigation pipe and landscape tools. The proposed replacement shed is about 700 sf and it will be constructed on a new slab at the original shed location. The larger shed will better accommodate the storage requirements of the Grounds Unit.

The project is limited to the CHP Academy with restrictive access and it consists of removing the existing structure and placing the new structure in the same location. The new structure will have substantially the same purpose as the structure replaced with negligible expansion of capacity. The project involves minor excavation where limited ground disturbance will be restored and it will have a negligible effect on resources in the area. The state confirms that no exceptions apply which would preclude the use of an exemption for this project.
