Document Description
The proposed project will upgrade the electrical and communication systems to Camp Vandalia. The proposed project will remove 16 power poles along with approximately 3,170 feet of overhead power lines. There will also be approximately 3,170 feet of underground raceways to be installed, which includes associated trenching of 3,170 feet, for new medium voltage and fiber optic cables. The proposed project will also install 15 new pull boxes along the raceway route for medium voltage and fiber optic cable installation. There will also be 1 pole mount transformer set removed and replaced with 1 new ground mount transformer, as well. The proposed project will also install and terminate new fiber optic cable in a new temrinal panel at the JTS building. No systems will be abandoned in place and all removed components will be removed from site by contractor.
