Document Description
The State Water Resources Control Board as the lead agency, will be issuing a water supply permit for this project. The Golden State Water Company - San Dimas proposes to drill one replacement groundwater well at the same property as two existing wells that are being replaced. The new Baseline Well 5 will replace Baseline Well 4 which had capacities of 1,000 gallons per minute. Baseline Well 4 is 108 years old, the water pumped from the well contains entrained sand and the casing has some enlarged perforations. Instead of attempting to line or otherwise rehabilitate baseline Well 4, a new Baseline Well 5 will be drilled at the same site. Baseline Well 4 will be destroyed prior to the drilling of Baseline Well 5.
