Document Description
Recent winter high water flows in the upper Sacramento River have eroded a stretch of riverbank adjacent to the residential driveway at 29511 Shade Ave in Castella, Shasta County, CA. The driveway is currently at risk of washing out during future high flow events. To protect the driveway and prevent further loss of property, the proposed project would stabilize the riverbank by installing rock slope protection. The driveway is the primary access route to the residence, and the driveway's protection is necessary to maintain safe, reliable access.
