Document Description
The proposed project involves the installation of a boarding ladder and fender plates on an existing pier at 10th Avenue Marina Terminal located in the City of San Diego. Currently, there are identical ladders located on the southeast side of the pier, and no existing pier plates. The purpose of the project is to allow boarding of the same vessels on the Northwest side of the pier and to prevent the vessels from damaging the pier. The project would consist of installing one pre-built approximately 24-inch-wide x 180-inch-long x 4-inch-deep ladder and two pre-drilled approximately 12-foot, 4-inch x 9-foot, 11-inch long fender plates on the Northwest side of the pier. Overall, the replacement portions of the floating dockwould be identical in length, width, location as the existing portions of the floating dock. No pile driving is proposed as part of this project and no changes to the size or use of the pier would result from the proposed project.
