Document Description
Replace a pedestrian bridge spanning a tributary to Diggins Creek, along the Humbug Trail at Malakoff Diggins State Historic Park to improve public safety and stream flow. Work will: Remove and dispose of existing bridge offsite; Excavate approximately 0.75 cubic yards for new bridge abutments; Secure abutments to the creek terrace with four (4) 5/8" x 3' long rebar; Install two (2) pressure treated Doug fir 10" x 10" x 18'long stringers on top of two (2) 10" x 10" x 6" long redwood mudsill abutments; and Install tread and hand rails per CA State Park Standards
