Document Description
Remove vegetation from an area and along the Slaugterhouse Trail at Malakoff Diggins State Historic Park to record, monitor, protect, and manage the resources present there. Use chain saws, pole saws, and a brush chipper to remove approximately one (1) acre of brush; chip transport, and temporarily store chip at the park's material storage area behind Jeffers' Barn; record and monitor resources; cover site with chip to protect resources and to minmize erosion; and brush along the sides of the Slaughterhouse Trail for approximately 380 meters long by 3 meters wide to reestablish the trail as a fuel break.
