Document Description
This project will install one Lake Tahoe Water Trail recreation sign at each D.L. Bliss State Park (Lester Beach), Emerald Bay State Park (Vikingsholm), Kings Beach State Recreation Area (Coon St. boat launch), and Sugar Pine Point State Park (day use waterfront) to educate paddlers about public access, wayfinding, water safety, aquatic invasive species (AIS) prevention, and resource conservation. At each location, work to install each sign will:
Hand excavate two 10" wide x 36" deep post holes 2" apart;
Install one 4" x 4" pressure treated post in each hole and backfill with native material;
Attach one 24" wide x 36" tall x 1/8" thick sign between the 4" x 4" pressure treated wood posts
