Document Description
Stabilize and rehabilitate the North Bloomfield Schoolhouse at Malakoff Diggins State Historic Park to preserve and protect an important element of the North Bloomfield Historic District. Work will: jack up and install new supports under the southern quarter of the southeastern classroom and entry vestibules; repair and/or replace damaged or missing exterior siding, window trim, wood quoins, and perimeter foundation skirt boards with in-kind materials; repaint exterior wood surfaces to match the exiting colors; inspect and repair the porches and lean-to; repair and rehabilitate 15 8' tall by 2'-10' wide windows; and repair and rehabilitate 5 exterior doors (3 with transom windows).
