Document Description
The purpose of the Lake Siskiyou Net Pen Project is to enhance Lake Siskiyou's fishery to benefit anglers by creating excitement about the creation of a trophy trout program. The goal of the project is to increase angler participation, namely with youth and families, through incentivized fishing by providing better opportunity to catch trophy sized trout. Furthermore, this project will provide community education opportunities about fisheries and wildlife management through interpretive signage near the net pens and hosted community events.
