Document Description
This project involves the transfer by San Juan Water District of up to 4,000 acre-feet of its pre-1914 water right to the certain SWP contractors participating in a State Water Contractors' 2018 dry-year transfer program during July through Sept. 2018. Water being transferred is made available by groundwater substitution by SJWD retailers - Fair Oaks Water District and Citrus Heights Water District - that will pump available groundwater in-lieu of taking delivery of SJWD surface water supplies.
