Document Description
The project will consist of the excavating and removal of approx 25,000 cubic to 40,000 cy off gravel material from approx 15-acres (250-ft wide and 0.5 mi long) of creek floodplain. The primary purpose of the project is to improve flow characteristics of the channel to protect the existing bridge on Lodoga-Stonyford Rd, the community service area #2 water system facilities, and adjacent land owner property. A secondary benefit of the project will be acquisition of gravel for public works projects, roads and other infrastructure, in the vicinity. The project will be temporary in nature.
