Document Description
Caltrans proposes to replace the existing Toro Creek Bridge on SR 1 with a new bridge that would be able to accommodate standard bridge rails and multimodal use. The existing bridge structure would be removed along with any existing human-made elements constructed within the creek. There are two design methods proposed, alternative 1: would construct the bridge using the cast-in-place/pre-stressed method and alternative 2: would construct the bridge with precast and pre-stressed elements.
