Document Description
The project involves the replacement of an existing restaurant with an on-campus hotel and new restaurant facility on the CSUN campus through a public private partnership. The proposed project would include the demolition of the existing Orange Grove Bistro restaurant which is 44 years old. A new up to six-story hotel building would be up to approx 70 ft in height and would consist of up to approx 150 rooms. The restaurant would be a separate, up to approx 13,000 sf, building and would be up to approx 30 ft in height. The combined footprint of the hotel and restaurant buildings would be up to approx 35,000 sf, which would cover approx 30% of the 2.75-acre project site. The project would also include surface parking with a capacity of approx 217 vehicles.
