State Route 127 Shoulder Widening and Rumble Strips Project
MND - Mitigated Negative Declaration
Caltrans plans to construct 8-ft wide shoulders, and install 12-in wide rumble strips along the outside shoulders in each direction, and centerline of SR 127 from PM 28.0 to 28.5 in an unincorporated area of San Bernardino County, CA. Light grading is also included to accommodate the shoulder widening, providing flatter 4:1 ratio slopes. A 40-by-100 ft staging area would also be located at PM 28.1. The setback for the staging area would be 40 to 80 ft from the centerline.
