Document Description
The applicant requests design review and a coastal development permit for a 1,191 sf addition to a "K" rated historic structure in the R-1 zone. Design review is required for the new structure and additions greater than 50% of the original structure, upper level additions, elevated decks (182 sf), elevator height, grading, retaining walls, water feature, two air conditioning units and landscaping. A variance is requested to encroach into the side and rear setbacks, to encroach into a private street area easement, and to allow stairs out of grade in the rear setback.
