Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2018-0066-R3, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Sue Tippets/Santa Clara Valley Water District. The purpose of the project is to remove up to 30 non-native blue gum eucalyptus (eucalyptus globulus) trees. The trees are all either dead, dying, show signs if diease, or are near a known pathogen fungal source. They are considered hazardous with the potential to cause injury to the public, damage property, lead to bank erosion or destabilization, and/or damage native trees on the west bank.
