Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2017-0382-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Carole Gray. The project is limited to removal and replacement of a damaged, existing 105 linear foot pier. The new pier will be built in the same location and will be extended a further ten (10) feet into the lake. All 14-inch diameter wooden support pilings will be removed from the lakebed. New pilings, consisting of 10.75 inch diameter steel pipe will be driven into the lakebed by a barge-mounted pile driver. All new pier acessories will be installed as floating or adjustable in order to accomodate fluctuating lake levels. All work with the exception of decking removal and installation will be conducted from the floating barge. Any disturbed lakebed spawning habitat will be restored following removal and subsequent replacement of all pier pilings.
