Document Description
The proposed project will remove the existing K-rail barrier and install a Type-60 barrier. The Type-60 barrier will be tied to the existing metal beam guardrail to close the gap. The purpose of the proposed project is to improve safety on State Route 178. The current K-rail fails to meet Caltrans Design Standards and the peoposed project will bring the barrier to standard. All work will be done within Caltrans right-of-way.
