Document Description
Caltrans proposes a highway maintenance project to replace a Rubberized Hot Mix Asphalt overlay and shoulder backing on I-5 in Merced County, from post mile 17.0 to post mile 32.5. All work will occur within Caltrans' right of way. The purpose of this project is to repair areas of failing or damaged pavement. The need for the project is to prevent further roadway deterioration and extend the service life of the paved highway surface.
