CDFW has executed lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2017-0486-R3, pursuant to section 1602 of the fish and game code to Chevron Pipe Line Company, as represented by Patrick Green. Project consists of excavation and repair of a pipeline anomaly (dent) with potential metal loss at the PIM 2014-PS-028 location that needs to be investigated and possibly repaired. The dent identified is minor at less than one ft long and requires minimal excavation to repair using a steel sleeve.

Reasons for Exemption
Project is for the sole purpose of inspection, maintenance, and repair of 5 affect sections of pipeline that are less than a length of one-half mile at a time. The affected sections of pipeline are not less than 8 mi distance from any section of pipeline that has been subject to this exemption in the previous 12 months. The permittee has an emergency notification plan. The project will take place an existing ROW that will be restored to pre-project conditions. Finally, the project will comply with all conditions authorized by law.
