Document Description
The proposed project will include renovation of staircases (2 total) by removing concrete toppping from all stair treads, sand blasting all steel treads/riser, stingers, and handrails. it will replace only weakened/unsafe or completely deteriorated treads/riser (as minimal as possible); remove and replace or install additions to handrails for code compliancy; repaint all steel (entire staircase and handrails) with heavy duty eposy paint/primer. It will reinstall concrete treads, and seal off all areas prone to water intrusion. It will include installation of 5 new motorized grill gates at the parking structure entrances/exits (two extra-large on the 12th side and thre eon the 11th street side) and provide infrastructure for future installation of a self-serve, automated parking transaction kiosk (electrical infrastructure only to be provided, not the actual unit).
