Document Description
Caltrans proposes to repair 2 culverts in Mariposa County, located near El Portal and the Merced River Bridge. At PM 41.9 at PM 42.0, cured in place pipe will be placed inside the existing pipe, which will not require increasing the size of the culverts, open trenching placement of RSP, or changes to the headwall or end treatments. All work will be performed when culverts are dry, and within the Caltrans ROW. The purpose of the project is to repair the existing facilities, and the need of the project is to prevent potential culvert and hwy failure.
