Document Description
The Water Authority will install a sodium hypochlorite (beach) dosing system inside the Mission Trails Flow Regulatory Structure to improve water quality delivered south of this point. The chemical feed system will maintain a target, chlorine residual concentration in Pipeline 4BI, south of the Mission Trails Flow Regulatory Structure. The system consists of a chemical feed system, double-wall containment tanks, valves, double-wall piping, electrical panels, field instruments, safety equipment, wiring, and conduit inside the structure. A new chemical fill station with containment will be constructed outside of the building within the facility's existing, perimeter fence to facilitate and ensure safe deliveries of the sodium hypochlorite solution.
