Document Description
The proposed project will enhance the Courthouse Park area by planting additional new shade trees and plants in the park, construction of a new pedestrian walkway/bikeway through the park, and construction or installation of other new park infrastructure and lighting. The project will also include improvements to crosswalks on Yosemite Ave and 6th Street to provide safe access to the park facilities and connectivity with nearby public, commercial, and residential areas. It is the goal of the project to promote walkability, connectivity, and healthy living while reducing GHG emissions and improving air quality in downtown Madera.
