Document Description
The 1930s-era barn at the Rolling M Ranch was rehabilitated in 1999 in a Service Center led project that included reinforcing the frame, sheeting walls, replacement siding, digging out the floor and pouring a concrete slab. Lead paint was removed by the contractor and the barn primed and repainted. After 18 years, the barn needs to be repainted. New paint will be the same red barn color as in 1999.

If the project is implemented as indicated within the CDPR Project Evaluation Form including measures provided by CDPR staff, then it is exempt under the CDPR list of Exempt Activities according to CEQA S15300.4 as: Class 31, Section 15331 - HistoricalResource Restoration Rehabilitation - Activities affecting historic resources consistent with the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties.
