Document Description
The project will rehabilitate aquatic habitat for the benefit of salmon in a segment of the Stanislaus River. Accumulated sediment will be removed from side channels, and clean spawning gravel will be added to riffles in the main river channel. Disturbed floodplain areas will be stabilized with native vegetation. The project is expected to enhance salmon spawning and rearing success.
