Document Description
The Sierra Nevada Conservancy would provide funding for $65,000 to the Nevada Irrigation District to prepare a Timber Harvest Plan, a CEQA-equivalent document, and secure permits identified in the planning process to guide long-term forest management of 550-acres within English meadow. The goal is to improve and protect headwater forests in the Middle Yuba River watershed through sustainable forest management, fire fuels reduction, and promotion of long-term water storage for supply to California residents.
