The project would create a 25-mile-long fuel break of 150 feet on either side of an existing access road on the ridge between Mill and Deer Creeks. It would include mastication and hand thinning within approximately 533 acres. This would protect watershed quality, reduce GHG emissions, and reduce wildfire severity.
