Document Description
The project is located to the North/East of the Monte Verde Estates Subdivision, approx 4.6 miles to the west of Foresthill in Placer County on the main ridge which separates the North Fork of the American River and Foresthill Rd. The project occurs on mixed conifer forestland with intermixed brush fields. The Elevation of the project area is from 2,200-2,360 ft. It will include mastication of brush, trees less than 10 in DBH, downed woody material, and the pruning of trees to a height of 8 ft. Material shall be masticated to a depth of no greater than 6 in. In areas where trees will be masticated, trees shall be spaced to approx 100-150 trees per acre (17-21 ft spacing) where possible w/o removing trees larger than 10 in DBH.
