Document Description
Bridge repair work entails constructing concrete retaining walls behind the north bridge abutment, placement of structural backfill and rock slope protection around the bridge abutments to stabilize the creek banks and protect from future scour. Construction will require a temporary diversion and/or dewatering of the channel in the immediate vicinity of the north abutment.

The project consist of emergency repair/replacement work necessary a result of a disaster situation brought on by continuous heavy rains, in which a state of emergency has been proclaimed by the Gov on 1-23-17 under the CA Emergency Services Act. Repairs to facilities are necessary to maintain service essential to the public health, safety or welfare. All project work is on existing facilities involving negligible or no expansion of an existing use.
