Document Description
CAL FIRE State Exams Hiring Unit will conduct practical testing for members of the public to obtain listing and ranking on the Heavy Fire Equipment Operator hiring list. Activities during this project will include driving transports on dirt roads, backing transports to turn around, and creating fire line through brush using bulldozers. There is no burning associated with this project. The vegetation type within the project area is chaparral and oak woodland, with much of the area covereds by a near-continuous layer of chamise. Additional species in the project area include greenleaf manzanita, whiteleaf manzanita, interior live oak and gray pine. Chamize and manzanita will be the species removed during testing activities.
