The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Stream bed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2018-0106-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Stockton East Water District. The project consists of routine maintenance and operations of Stockton East Water District's seasonal flash board dams and other facilities on the Calaveras River and Mormon Slough in San Joaquin County and Hood, Shirley, and Rock Creeks in Stanislaus County. Routine maintenance work consists of debris or obstruction removal, sediment removal, vegetation control in channels, minor erosion control work, and bridge washing/graffiti removal and painting.
