Document Description
KCSD proposes to improve their wastewater treatment and disposal facility which serves approx 47 acres within the district boundary. This project would involve improvements and upgrades to the wastewater collection, treatment, and disposal facilities to remedy a Cease and Desist Order from the RWQCB North Coast. The project would add treatment systems to the facility on KCSD property such as extra septic and flow equalization tanks. It would also reconfigure and pressurize leachlines to more adequately drain wastewater on property owned by the county and leased by the district. The goal of the project would not only mend the Cease and Desist Order but increase the accommodation of wastewater collection, treatment and drainage to 60,800 gallons per day.
